Unlocking Flow

February 9, 2011 by Marian Buck-Murray 4 Comments

Melting ice brings flow.
Melting ice brings flow.

(HAPPY UPDATE Feb 19:  The Christmas tree has emerged from underneath the snow.  Recent 60+ weather has initiated the flow of gurgling streams of melted snow water.)

At last, the sun has melted the huge icicles hanging from our roof.  The warmer 40-ish weather a few days ago helped shrink the hardened mountains of snow, revealing bits of grass from underneath.   As a result, I’ve uncovered someone’s lost hat.  Sooner or later I know our discarded Christmas tree will re-emerge.

Lately I have been very cautious as I navigate the streets in my town.  Due to the sheer volume of snow piled up alongside the road, some streets are like one-lane tunnels, with severely restricted flow.  It has been strange, dangerous, and beautifully surreal.

I can’t help but notice that the scene outside somehow resembles the landscape of our inner blocks and stuck emotions.  When neglected, or too plentiful, they pile up, burying treasure and restricting life.

Clearly, for the best traffic flow, it’s crucial to have well-cleared streets.  Different types of snow plows are effective for different types of road-ways.   But they all need to be plowed, blown, and shoveled.

EFT, or Emotional Freedom Technique, is like a personal snow blower for stuck and hardened emotions.  It’s a perfect self-healing tool.  It’s a method where you tap on specific meridian points to release stuck energy, and facilitate flow.

EFT is amazingly effective at dislodging pain, phobias, and unwanted behavior patterns, to uncover the buried treasures within you.

I first learned about EFT a few years ago.  I was so amazed by its power in my own life,  that I went on to complete Levels 1 & 2 with EFT master Carol Look.  I plan to continue with more advanced levels.

Stuck, repressed emotions can cause damage to body and mind, resulting in illness, depression, anxiety, intimacy blocks, and more.  Like the restricted roadways outside, restricted emotions can put you in a real jam.   A simple method like EFT done on your own, or with a practitioner, can help you recreate the joyful, vibrant flow of life.

Visit The Tapping Solution.com for a free e-book to learn more about using EFT.   Jessica and Nick Ortner, the brother-sister team who founded the company will be offering the annual 10-day World Tapping Summit starting February 21, with 2 interviews a day with EFT experts from around the world.  It is free to listen during scheduled times.  And well worth it.   Check out videos by Bruce Lipton, Jack Canfield and Cheryl Richardson here.
