Make Friends with Your Inner Critic

January 22, 2020 by Marian Buck-Murray Leave a Comment

It might sound counter-intuitive. Why on earth would we want to be friends with a nasty bully?

Why? Because, this nasty bully is actually a voice from the past.

A voice that remembers our wounds and feels our pain.

It’s a younger part of ourselves, trying to stay safe, trying do to the right thing.

And maybe, just maybe, it wants to be on our side.

In this video I share some suggestions for bringing love and compassion to the critic, so you can transform it into a friendly ally.

Be Kind To Yourself,

Marian
